International Conference On World Class Sustainable Cities 2009 (WCSC 2009) is being organized to widen the knowledge and raise awareness on some key challenges faced by global cities in becoming ‘World Class Sustainable Cities’ as a result of the high rate of urbanization and globalization. The conference will raise awareness on issues and available solutions and experiences by cities that strive to achieve a world-class sustainable city status. This international conference will shed some light from the experiences, best practices and case studies of other world class cities. It will also provide the opportunity to review the latest developments, ideas, and innovations that has been implemented or practiced in achieving a world-class city.
