IIWAS 2009

IIWAS 2009 - 11th International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services - will be held in conjunction with the 7th International Conference on Advances in Mobile Computing and Multimedia. It is an international conference allowing researchers and industry practitioners to share their ideas, experience and original research results from the field of information integration and web-based applications & services. The Proceedings of the conference will be published by the ACM Digital Library. The conference offers speeches by experts like Gabriele Kotsis (Vice Rector, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria), Won Kim (Pioneer of Object-Oriented Databases), Stephan Olariu (Associate Editor IEEE TPDS), Dato. Jamaludin Ibrahim, (CEO Axiata) and Dzaharudin Mansor (Microsoft Malaysia). Some of the topics like The Evolution of the Web: Information – Communication – Cooperation, Adoption Issues for Cloud Computing and An Architecture for Traffic Incident Detection will be addressed by the speakers. It also has tutorials on Model Driven Engineering, High Performance Databases, Ontology Activity Recognition, and Grid Computing Workflow. Other programs like talks, Peer reviewed technical program, Demos, short papers, posters, Panels and Industrial presentations will also contribute in enhancing knowledge related to the industry.
