PsychOUT is a conference for organizing resistance against therapy and providing a forum for psychiatric survivors, mass people, activists, scholars, students, radical professionals and artists from around the world, to come together and share experiences of organizing resistance against psychiatry. The conference helps to develop longer-term strategies to reach the organization’s goals and also critically examines the use of law, science, media, art, and theatre for social change. The conference PsychOUT focuses on both the theory and practice that is directly related to developing strategic actions, aimed at challenging the power of institutional psychiatry. Apart from this, the conference is also an ideal platform for networking with various expert leaders from the industry.
