The 5th Annual Conference on Palliative & End of Life Care in 2010 is based on the theme "Caring for Persons with Terminal Illness: Living with the Dying in Multicultural Canada". The event will assembles Alzheimer’s/ Dementia care givers, Palliative Care Physicians/nurses, Pain Management Teams, Home Care Managers, etc and will also conduct special sessions on Palliative care for Patients with Dementia: Indigenous Peoples Perspectives by leading professionals from the related field. Presentations by the panel will also be featured in the conference and will cover topics such as Christian Perspective on Death & Dying, Islamic Approach to End of Life care, Understanding Death and Dying in Buddhism and Cultural Competency in Hospice Care.
