Event Profile
The 5th Future Asian Space, Great Asian Street Symposium 2008 (GASS), will feature the topics significantly related to the future of Asian urbanism. It will provide a platform for constructive thinking and discussion about the future of Asian cities. The Great Asian Streets Symposium (GASS) was established in 2001 with the aim of organizing such events. It was recognized that there was a need for an Asia-based node of excellence on networks of ideas and results of research projects that focus on Asian cities. The Great Asian Street Symposium 2008 will be organized by Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore.
