The Evaluation 2009 invites evaluators from around the world to attend its annual conference at the world class Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando. AEA's annual meeting is expected to bring together approximately 2500 evaluation practitioners, academicians, students and the related people from various disciplinary backgrounds with an interest in evaluation. This is a unique opportunity to meet the professional colleagues in a supportive, refreshing atmosphere. Evaluation 2009 conference will include over 500 presentations in as many as 41 Topical Stands. The most exciting stand will be Presidential Strand with a theme of ‘Context and Evaluation’. Focusing on context at the conference will facilitate our ability to look across studies and produce an understanding of the ways context shapes the methods we use, the configuration of our study teams, the nature of the relationships we have, and strategies for disseminating the findings.
