EHFCN Annual Conference 2010 will highlight the importance of dealing with fraud and corruption in healthcare. This is because unethical activities continue to deplete the resources associated with the existing health care system. It continues to happen inspite of different healthcare systems that operate throughout the European Union. The conference aims to stop the fraud and corruption that is damaging the capacity of the heath care systems to provide essential treatment. Participants will also be educated about the happening of additional healthcare expenditures due to unnecessary treatments like redundant tests, fake drugs, errors and inefficiencies.
