7th Annual Scientific Conference

In the 7^th Annual Scientific Conference there will be discussion on various issues related to health. The visitors will get to know about the challenge of health behavior change and things related to healthy and unhealthy behavior. The experts will also discuss on topics like chronic disease prevention and management, quality of life issues and linking research policy and practice. the keynote speakers of the conference are Internationally renowned researchers  Professor Larry Green (Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University of California, USA), Professor Brian Oldenburg (Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University, Australia), Professor Cindy Shannon (Director, Centre for Indigenous Health, University of Queensland, Australia).

The attraction of the conference is the four awards being presented this year.

• Early Career Award - For best oral presentation for current ASBHM members whose degree was awarded within the previous five years as at the conference date
• Student Award - Best oral presentation for postgraduate (Masters, Doctorate or PhD) ASBHM student members
• Poster Awards- Best Overall Poster and Best Student Poster (Masters, Doctorate or PhD) ASBHM student members
