Asian And Pacific Conference Of Probation Administrators 2009 - APCPA 2009 - aims to provide an international forum to exchange best practices in probation and community based measures. The conference is being organized by the Department of Probation, Ministry of Justice, Thailand. The conference will assemble probation administrators, practitioners, scholars and researchers working in probation and community corrections, from Asian and Pacific countries, to share knowledge, experience, lessons learnt, and best practices in the field. The objective of the conference is to explore existing models and emerging trend in probation and community corrections in Asian and Pacific countries, and to strengthen the relationship between practitioners and scholars and create an international network for probation administrators.
The APCPA 2009 Conference will focus on the following topics in its plenary and workshop discussion:
