14th Bangkok International Symposium on HIV Medicine 2011 has been organized by HIV-NAT for the past 11 years to provide updated information on HIV treatment and research for physicians and allied health professionals. The seminar aims to fuel discuss through a series of group discussions on issues such as access to care and the cost of ARV in various countries. The collaborating partners are the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre, Australia’s National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research, and the International Antiviral Therapy Evaluation Centre in the Netherlands.
The aims of the three-day symposium are to provide physicians, health care workers and the community from Thailand and countries in the region with a comprehensive review of the management of HIV infection and opportunistic infections, the latest updates on research into HIV treatments and vaccines and efforts to improve access to therapy. The symposium will attain leading international and local speakers, present plenary sessions and facilitate interactive workshops.
