Capturing Metamorphosis is a one-day conference organized by Institute for Culture and History and is conducted along with exhibition: Metamorphosis-Myth Image Medium. The conference will provide an interdisciplinary context to further explore the central issue of metamorphosis. The event also features workshop sessions which helps to share ideas and inspire new ways of re-visiting both old and new media. Apart from this, event is also inviting papers on issues such as - strategies of representing the event of metamorphosis in ancient and contemporary art and media, poetics of hybridity, the organic and the monstrous, hybrid media or post media etc.
