Joint Venture is a contractual agreement joining together two or more parties for the purpose of executing a particular business undertaking. All parties agree to share in the profits and losses of the enterprise.
An Application for business registration can be submitted at the office of Registrar of Companies or can be done online.
Information to be provided
- Name of the applicant (e.g. for a firm, the name of the firm)
- Date of registration, if any, and the registration number given by the relevant authority
- The tax account number, the registration number at Customs, the Social Security
- Employment registration number, the VAT registration number must be stated if available
- The Business name (if any the business name is the trading name of the business
- The general nature of business and its location
- ·A description of the activity and the address of the business must be given
- Date or proposed date of commencement of business
- ·The date or proposed date on which the applicant intends to start business
- Address of the principal place of business. Address where the main activity of the business is carried out must be indicated
- Workforce of the applicant. State the number of persons employed by the business
- Telephone number, fax number and email address
Registration fee payable is according to the workforce as follows
